The Volusia County Regional Public Libraries and the Volusia County Health Department are proud to announce a series of Nutritious Story Times for children.
Nutritious Story Time is a family nutrition literacy program that encourages parents to read to children at home and teaches positive health and nutrition messages to parents and children.
Nutritious Story Time emphasizes making nutrition education fun and interesting for young children and their parents. Research has shown that one of the biggest predictors of health status is literacy.”
